Part-Time Administrative Assistant (Non-Profit, In-Office, Temporary)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and personable Administrative Assistant to support a senior leader within a dynamic, mission-driven nonprofit organization. This is a part-time, temporary, in-office opportunity with the potential for expansion based on performance and organizational need.
Schedule
- 3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Location: Fully in-office
Compensation
- $20-$24/hour, with some flexibility based on experience
Position Overview
This role provides administrative and operational support within a collaborative development team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with databases/CRM systems, and confident interacting with both internal stakeholders and external donors.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between departments (including finance and database teams) regarding agreements, gifts, and donor information
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, including preparation and collection of materials
- Draft and send donor communications, including welcome and acknowledgment letters
- Run and distribute reports related to grants, funds, and foundations
- Maintain accurate records and enter data into internal systems/CRM
- Track and enter event or program attendance
- Provide general administrative support, including mail distribution and event preparation (e.g., printing materials, nametags)
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and polished demeanor
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel required)
- Experience working with CRM systems or databases required (specific platforms not required)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience working in a nonprofit or development/fundraising environment
